MUSEUM AT THE ST. PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM

On June 7, the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will host a session of the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum "Museums: centers for the development of contemporary skills in the field of creative industries". Elena Titova will talk about the values of the new culture, which form the museum of today, and present the IV competition-biennale "Designed and Made in Russia".

Today the museum is a center for the development of modern competencies in the field of creative industries, a hub for new collaborations, professional dialogue and exchange of experience. The modern museum follows a sustainable agenda, instilling in the public a culture of conscious consumption and respect for the environment through the organization of exhibition and educational projects. The interdisciplinary and cross-industrial activities of the museum scales the value of creative thinking in different sectors of the economy, raises questions about the importance of identifying, studying and preserving the heritage of Fashion and Design of the XXIst century. The Museum acts as a strategic platform for design diplomacy, bringing together institutions and creative industry leaders who translate craft and artistic traditions as a competitive advantage.

4. Victoria Andreeyanova, designer, founder of VICTORIA ANDREYANOVA Fashion House;

5. Andrey Chernikhov, architect, head of Andrey Chernikhov Studio of Architecture and Design;

6. Fatima Mukhomejan, Director of the Art, Science and Sport Charitable Foundation;

7. Natalia Logutova, Deputy Head of the School of Design, National Research University Higher School of Economics.

Moderator: Anastasia Krylova, Head of the "Fashion and Design Center" of the All-Russian Museum Decorative Art, art historian, expert in design policy and circular design.

 

The session will be held on June 7 at 10:30 at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center, Congress Center, Zone B, 2nd floor, Conference Hall B1 (St. Petersburg, Pushkinsky District, Shushary settlement, Peterburgskoe Highway, 64, Bldg. 1).
