The Educational Center offers studio and guided tour programs, creative workshops and laboratories for children and adults. Step by step, we reveal the secrets of the art closest to humans – decorative art. From an early development art studio for children aged 3 and up to youth programs and "adult" formats – everyone can find an activity to their liking at the museum, like-minded people for communication and joint creative work.

We look at museum originals
Folk crafts and artistic trades, original works and contemporary object design – using unique examples from the museum's collection, we learn to view decorative art as part of our great artistic culture and a source of inspiration for our own creativity.
We gain knowledge firsthand
Tours and lectures by researchers and collection keepers, museum educators and invited experts – we build programs based on scientific knowledge, best contemporary practices, informal communication with participants, play and joint discoveries. There are no wrong answers here – every visitor's experience is unique.
We get acquainted with art "by touch"
Acquaintance with art is not limited to the museum halls – it continues in interactive spaces and workshops, where one can study decorative art literally by touch – with the help of a tactile collection (antique objects and works by masters), creative work with wood, textiles, ceramics and contemporary design materials under the guidance of the center's staff and professional artists.
We master new formats
We constantly update our "repertoire" – along with classic tours, every museum guest has the opportunity to take part in new program formats: art mediations and creative laboratories, classes in a media school and performative practices.
