Ho Chi Minh City will host a key event in the field of Vietnamese design — VMARK VIETNAM DESIGN WEEK. This year's theme is "Design Thinking. Design Tomorrow."
The program of exhibitions, discussion platforms and results of national design awards VMARK sets the task of changing the strategic role of design in the creation of the sustainable future. The event is organized by the Vietnam Design Association VDAS, which is a partner of the project "Designed and Made in Russia". The President of the Association Ho Tang Duong and the founder of the VMARK Design Award Tran Ngoc Dan became members of the international jury of the biennial competition. Elena Titova, Director of the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum, is a member of the International Jury of the Vietnam Design Award.
Specially for VMARK Vietnam Design Week, the All-Russian Decorative Art Museum designed of a tablet photo exhibition dedicated to the history of Russian design and new trends in the industry. The photo project will then be shown at other city venues in Ho Chi Minh City and Hue.
